Well its time to roll up the top sites that allows you to generate a stable income from your blogs that you write — whether or not its for fun or its done as a serious profession. On 2012, I had given you top 3 sites to generate money right, but this time I have more sites to share with you just so that you can get good profit from your blog! A little introduction right? Well its 2013 now, so earn money from blog 2013 with sites that I’ve specified in this post.

As of 2013, some sites started to make the profit from bloggers a little slower and some sites like adBrite had recently closed! It is also recommend to choose some sites that will not affect your blog ranking too. This list also contains sites that are already present in 2012 & is still valid for you to use. While choosing these sites, make sure you optimize your ads to make the ads shown properly. I have reviewed all sites based on its performance and revenue. Each ads that you place from various ad publisher networks must be placed correctly in order to get the profit that you wish for. In the past recent survey, I have noticed that new bloggers & about 30-40% of intermediate bloggers just apply some random ads on different places without caring about the site layout — They just place some random ads that fits the template that they use. Well this won’t make you any revenue. So do place the ads where the visitors can easily view it while they read your content.

Yeah — like before, Google Adsense is a good source for income unless you tweak your ads to display properly. Getting approved in Google Adsense is the bloggers dream, and Yes it is the best way to earn money. Its simple, clean & fast to embed the ad code in almost anywhere on your site. You can get an easy dashboard to manage your ad codes. Comparing other advertising methods, Google Adsense really doesn’t affect your site performance or load speed since the ads are fetched from Google’s servers. At first, after joining Google Adsense, it took almost 1 year to get my first 100$ check. Yes its was hard to make money from Google Adsense until I have personally tweaked my ads to show up locations where visitors actually click. CTR rates are basically low when Asian people click the ads but a single click from USA can generate more click-through rates. So make sure that you target your blog to get more visitors from the US rather than concentrating in India or other Asian countries. Make sure you follow the rules of Google Adsense and its very difficult to restore your account once if you ever done anything against their rules. Don’t try to cheat as Google is smarter to track each and every clicks & impressions. I know that its very difficult to earn money from your blog when you have less page impressions or clicks — instead of focusing on adsense tricks, drive traffic to your blog as it helps you to gain your income! Which type of ads to display? I’d recommend you to have atleast 1 Medium Rectangle (300 x 250) ad to be placed on the right or left side of the content (Like I did to my blog),  Leaderboard (728 x 90) on the top or bottom of the page as well as a Large Rectangle (336 x 280). The dashboard for tracking your earnings is very neatly designed by the Google team. The first page itself shows the data you need such as your Unpaid earnings, earnings for today so far, earnings for yesterday, earnings for this month & the earnings for your previous month. Another main type of ad type is “Search” inside Adsense. Basically what it does is that, it will build a custom search box for your blog and can be easily embedded into your blog. It will show ads to the search results too, which can generate you more income from it. While putting ads, Just make sure that it fits correctly to wherever your planning to place. Make sure that its an area where there is chance for people to click. Mostly all the bloggers would place a banner ad just between the article as well as on the sidebar. While choosing the text-based ads, make sure that you edit the color of the ads to match the your blog’s theme. PostLinks.com is from Next Net Media, LLC is a service that allows to make money by sell links (Contextual Links), guest posts & comments using your WordPress powered Blog. Like their site says — “auto blogging”. Their site itself with its intro video shows it!  The advantage about this publisher network is that its not really based on Alexa rankings (Traffic), its the Page Rank that matters. They accepts sites which has at least 1 as the Page Rank. The payout in this site is pretty decent — since there is actually no “minimum” payout.

Only problem I had encountered was that, on one fine day I did get a warning saying that the PostLinks Plugin wasn’t working properly and I didn’t payed much attention to it resulting to the loss of whole earnings & restarted from 0! I do recommend this service as this service will surely earn money by selling you contextual links ads for your website — but again, depends upon the number of posts that you have & the Page Rank. Text Link Ads really makes you lot of money unless your site isn’t popular — Page Rank & Alexa is what I mean! Actually, if you have a lot of articles in your blog then its easy to get more ads. By personal experience, Text Link Ads was my life saver (You can read it on my About page) as its their ads that made my site to continue (Paying hosting rents, domain rent, etc). It took me 1 year to get stable income from it & it just works! They pay you as cheque — Its a convenient way for me.

Currently Text Link Ads supports WordPress, Joomla, vBulletin, Drupal, ExpressEngine, MovableType, phpBB, MOD platforms. While you submit your site to them, your site will be reviewed by Alexa Rank — Mostly they will accept sites which have at least 1,000,000., Page Rank of at least 1 & the content of your site.
