After searching for a lot of providers offering International SIM services, I came up with Matrix Cellular — A great, cheap solution for your international calling needs. Rather than using your provider’s international roaming facility, Matrix gives you the best tariff for many destinations and even gives you Postpaid & Prepaid facility so that you don’t need to worry about your bills much.

Matrix International SIM from India
Many people, whether or not travelling for a job or to have a vacation would do have international roaming activated (or won’t, due to high charges of current provider). Well Matrix Cellular now solves that problem as their plans are much affordable & is globally recognized. Therefore, I do rate with their customer service, registration, rates.
While checking out their customer service support via their email, I do got a quick reply from them by calling me back (since I gave them my phone number). The person who called me was friendly and he did clarified all the doubts that I had about the matrix sim card. Same person also had knowledge about the other services that Matrix Cellular offers like Matrix Forex Card. So I don’t see any lack of support from them.
The rates are a bit high — yet affordable for those who are looking for a cheaper solution. Instead of going for the current SIM provider’s international charges (which is high like Rs. 100 for outgoing per minute), Matrix is much much cheaper & Incoming calls are FREE on most of the countries. Matrix also provides country-specific plans, students plans in which its more cheaper. They had also partnered with airlines, hotels, etc., to give us offers. You can leave them an email or a call to give you the offers which suites you.
Registration is quick & forward, You submit a copy of your passport, visa & airline ticket (if you got it) and they will give setup. For Prepaid, you must pay 1,500 INR at first & can get only 1,200 INR talk-time. The validity of the card depends, if you need it for 30 days, then you can get it — 1 year or more? No Problem, Just ask them, they will provide you. They do have a lot of offices for you to check in.
