Yeah, GoDaddy Auctions is the right place having a huge pool of domains available. There are millions of domains available for auctions, Brand names, Word Meanings, and even your names, so basically a little time to spend to get your domain name. Here in this post, I’d be reviewing GoDaddy Auctions — Pros, Cons, Procedures & Tips for getting a successful domain.

Pros

Cons

  • Expiring Domains have 7 days time to settle (So if owner renews, you loose the bid & gets refund).
  • Renewal Costs Extra.
  • GoDaddy Auctions Subscription needed for bidding.
  • MasterCard aren’t accepted.
  • Limited Time to bid

Procedure

  • Head over to GoDaddy Auctions and click Advanced Search
  • Enter Keyword, Extension, Minimum Age for domain, Characters according to your needs & Search
  • Once you find your domain, If it has at least 2 days then wait 2 days and before the time left reaches 10 minutes, Bid yours.
  • If the domain your looking for is a Buy Now domain then get it right away before anyone takes it.
  • Pay for the bid chargers & 1 year renewal and wait for confirmation message.

Tips

  • Never bid early, Bid at the last moment (10 minutes or so) to get the cheapest rates.
  • Make sure your subscription is active (if needed) before you bid.
  • Look for Buy Now domains rather than bidding.
  • Never tell anyone about what domain your looking at (Chances that they might tell to others and acquire it before you do).
  • Never contact the owner, even If you know his/her details.
